What is an Aurader Atmosphere?

An Atmosphere combines a visual reading scene with optional background music, ambient sound and your reading voice. Choose a scene and adjust each sound layer to fit the book or your mood.

Can I both read and listen?

Yes. Aurader keeps the spoken sentence highlighted so you can follow with your eyes, listen without looking, or move between both without losing your place.

Which file types can Aurader read?

The Bookshelf supports EPUB, PDF, TXT and additional Readium-compatible reading and audio formats. Articles can come from pasted text, web pages, scans, TXT, DOC and DOCX files.

Can Aurader work offline?

Yes. System voices and supported on-device neural voices can work without a network after required files are available. Cloud and custom provider voices require a connection.

Does Aurader send my reading text to the cloud?

Local engines keep supported speech generation on the device. If you choose a cloud or custom voice, the text required for synthesis is sent to the selected provider. Read the privacy policy for details.
